Like it or not, Ponchos are here to stay this fall/winter. I am a fan of ponchos, my mom always used to wear them and I thought that was pretty cool, even as a kid. They are warm, cozy and bold. You’ve got to rock it without shame. Here are some of the best ponchos I’ve spotted so far.
Zara Poncho – CAD$79.90
Aritzia T. Babaton Buckley Poncho: CAD$165
Anthropologie Cabled Cocoon Poncho: USD$128
Aritzia Wilfred Poncho: CAD$195
So what do you think? Are you going to be getting your poncho on this fall/winter?

Why, hello there. Three cheers for Friday! Four more sleeps until I depart for New York City. Eeeeek!!
Today I read an article (thanks for the link Ryan!) about Vancouver being among the world’s worst dressed-cities. I must say, I do agree. While Vancouver is a wonderful city, a lot of it’s citizens could be nominated to feature on What Not to Wear. Most of you blame Lululemon for Vancouver’s fashion demise, while I think it goes back much further than that. Remember the gortex and fleece filled 90′s? Yes, it rains a lot here but it also rains in Paris, New York and other fashionable cities. I think it’s safe to guess that gortex, fleece and yoga pants aren’t seen much around those parts. Of course, I’m guilty of wearing all the above at some point or another, but if I’m going out for dinner, or even to a casual get-together with friends, I put much thought and effort into what I’m wearing. C’mon people, it’s fun to dress-up every now and then!
Ok, on to the closet find…

As you can see, I love Australian designers. There’s a whole lot of great clothing coming out of the Land Down Under. If you’re thinking of visiting Australia any time in the future, save some money for great shopping! Especially if you’re going to Sydney or Melbourne. You will be pleasantly surprised.
Me and my trusty side-kick.
